Les and I would like to recommend 5th Generation. We had a leak in our shower. Two other contractors told us we needed to replace the entire shower because the pan was leaking. 5th Generation came in and said all we had to do was replace the shower doors. They followed through on replacing the doors and repaired/repainted the downstairs ceiling where it had leaked. The project manager, Mark Head, was very professional and a pleasure to work with.

We did not have very good service with New Windows and Doors. The windows took longer to install due to the wrong size windows being ordered and then the door was problematic from the beginning. It ended up costing twice as much as expected and the new lock had to be replaced by another contractor due to the original contractor makng the door holes too far apart. In addition, the front of the bay has been painted twice by New Windows and Doors and is still the wrong color. Finally, our newly stained door is buckling from the heat.

On a brighter note, 5th Generation has been very prompt and work done well!

One of the best contractors I have run across since moving to Georgia 18 years ago is Nip Adams of Adams Construction, who built our tennis pavilion. Here are some of his attributes:
- In business for over 30 years
- Home grown in Blue Ridge Ga
- Specializes in log homes
- Honest, reasonable, thorough, quality minded, and efficient
- Skills cover nearly anything from minor to major additions.
I have observed his quality work from log homes to room additions to building a funeral home from start to finish...........all superb quality. He has built a log home for one of our neighbors and will be redesigning/remodeling a home in Chadds lake this summer.
